Court Rental Agreement

Thank you for considering Shepherd’s Ranch Sports Club for your rental needs! We look forward to serving you. Please read the following information as it pertains to our court rental policies, rules, and regulations. These procedures are set in place to ensure the safety of you, your players, and all parties involved. Rental times can be reserved online through our instagram page or by phone.

Rental Rules/Policies

• Payment – All reservations are required to be paid in full at time of booking. No reservations will be made without payment.
• No Refunds – Refunds are not offered for any reason unless Shepherd’s Ranch Sports Club is unable to accommodate your reservation. There are situations when a credit may be issued (see below). However, by reserving court time you remove our ability to rent that time and space. Please be 100% sure of your reservation before you book.
• Cancellations – If the renter is unable to be present for their specified rental time, they can cancel by phone or email to reschedule. This communication must be received at least 48-hours before the scheduled rental time for refund or court rental credit for future use. All reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the rental will not receive a credit for future use.
• Court Rentals require a minimum of 1-hour duration to book.
• Renter is responsible for any damage and must report damage within 24 hours.
• Renters must be 21 Years old or older and onsite at all times should there be any participants under the age of 18.

Coach’s Responsibility:

• Coach is responsible for obtaining waivers from all guest participants prior to participating and providing said waivers to Shepherd’s Ranch Sports Club before the scheduled court rental and commencement of activities. Additional waivers will be available on-site.
• All balls (and paddles if applicable) will need to be accounted for at the end of rental.
• Please do not make adjustments to volleyball net height. Arrangements to adjust heights can be made so long as staff is given at least 24 hour notice. Any broken/damaged/defective equipment should be reported immediately to staff.
• Should off-hour use be requested, a check-in and check-out procedure will be provided to the renter upon booking. All off-hour procedures must be followed.
• All children must be always supervised and accompanied by an adult over 21.
• Any individuals who do not exit court at the end of rental, or do not follow rental policies and rules, may be prohibited from renting courts in the future.
• The reservation starts at the beginning of the rental reservation time and all parties are required to be off the court at the end of rental reservation time. It is the responsibility of the coach to ensure that the court is cleared, clean and everything is accounted for, prior to leaving.
• Although not required for rental, it is highly advised that all coaches and coaching staff maintain a form of sports coaching/sports instructor liability insurance.

Roster & Guests

• Parents and players will not be permitted on the court without waiver, which must be provided to the front desk before the scheduled court rental.
• Allowed guests are only allowed in areas designated by the rental.

Court Rules

Allowed Activities Include: Basketball, volleyball, & pickleball

Prohibited Activities: Roller skates, skateboarding (any wheel configuration), wheelies, scooters, MMA, tumbling, gymnastics, hardball sports, or activities that can cause damage to floors, walls and/or outside sport court.

• Athletic, non-marking court shoes are required at all times.
• Non-traditional gymnasium equipment must be approved by the facility manager.
• Dunking is allowed on the basketball courts, however, excessive hanging on the rim is not allowed.
• No food or drink allowed on indoor or outdoor court, except water in non-glass, re-sealable containers. Food and drink may be consumed on patios only.
• Profanity, suggestive language, and aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
• No spitting in the gym.
• Gym personnel reserve the right to remove any member or guest from the area if he or she exhibits behavior that is believed to be unsafe or inappropriate.

Agreement

I hereby agree and understand that I am responsible for all individuals and participants present during the scheduled reservation and I am responsible for any and all damage to the facilities, building, or surrounding grounds.

I have read the above stated rules and regulations and understand that said party must comply with the regulations, policies, and fees governing use of the facility. All information, pricing, rules/policies are subject to change without notice.
